Upholstery on Broadway was proud to be a part of the beautiful restoration of the Colonial Theatre in Boston Massachusetts; where our crew upholstered the railings and foot rails. The Colonial first opened in 1900. The first performance was Ben-Hur featuring eight live horses for the Chariot scene. We were faced with many challenges on site including, maneuvering around other contractors,  as well as avoiding stage hands for the current running show “Moulin Rouge”. We were glad that we only had to work around props rather than live horses and chariots!
